To transfer your photos from the camera to a Mac computer, follow these steps:
1. Attach the small USB end to the port near the memory card.
2. Attach the larger USB to your computer.
3. Power up the camera.
4. Follow Chris Krug's instructions for iPhoto. You can download the tutorial here. This is a zip file, you will need to open it.
5. Once you have the image(s) on the desktop, drag and drop them into a folder labeled images on your jump (thumb) drive or your external hard drive. Do not email them to yourself.
6. Jot down the files name (in Chris' tutorial it is labeled DSC_0010.jpg).
